A Woman's Right to Shoes
We all fell in love with Carrie Bradshaw played by Sarah Jessica Parker on Sex and the City. She
is Manhattan's most fabulous single lady who expresses her mood and
freedom through her eclectic yet impeccable style. With her extensive
collection of high-end designer shoes and most coveted wardrobe, who
would not want to slip into her shoes, even just for one day?
Sarah Jessica Parker finally takes
Carrie Bradshaw (her fictional character) and love for shoes into
reality. Last Friday, 28 February 2014, Sarah Jessica Parker officially
launched her high-end shoe line at Nordstrom. Similarly, just in time for
the 10th Year Anniversary of the last episode of SATC aired in February
2004, she also opened her pop-up store in SOHO last weekend. I did not
miss this opportunity, as there is no Nordstrom in Manhattan. I am
usually reluctant when a celebrity tries to get into the fashion
business, but not with SJP. I am supporting her, because she understands shoes and women. SJP shoes may not be as
expensive as her signature Manolo Blahniks, but they are are certainly
Manolo-inspired at a fraction of the cost.
I’m a firm believer in quality and timelessness and have created this
collection with the hopes that women will love wearing it for years to
come.” -SJP
DIANA
(named after Lady Diana, to me it's reminiscent of Manolo's Campari Mary Janes)
MAUD
Inspired by the great Maud Frizon

LESLIE

"The fact is, sometimes it’s hard to walk in a single women’s shoes. That’s why we need really special ones now and then - to make the walk a little more fun." - Carrie Bradshaw, Sex & The City
"Showing love and support from one shoe-lover to another."
