Brunch du Dimanche

Mademoiselle
(l'intersection de la 23e avec Broadway)

SUNDAY BRUNCH.  The best thing about weekends is sleeping in and going out for brunch. Since I have a guest in town,  we re-visited one of my favorite boulangeries (bakery) in New York City, Maison Kayser. As a feinschmecker, I love this place because brunch here offers simple yet good quality meals. I was craving for something sweet and salty at the same time, so I ordered two different types of Tartines (open face sandwich) and French Onion Soup for appetizer.

Sunday Brunch at Maison Kayser
Flatiron location: 921 Broadway New York, NY
(other locations: Upper East Side and Columbus Circle)

  Smoked Salmon and Sausage Tartine
- talk about having best of both worlds..

- Smoked Salmon over Crème fraîche topped with a perfectly fried egg, shaved onions and capers
- Sweet sliced sausage, overcooked scrambled egg, caramelized onions, and basil pesto
- French Onion soup with melted gruyere cheese
